Junior Golf Foundation Kenya

The Junior Golf Foundation (JGF) was set up on 2nd October 1995 by KGU and KLGU. JGF principle objective is to promote junior golf development and participation for boys and girls from the ages of 5 to 21 years in Kenya.

JGF accomplishes this objective by:

  • issuing handicaps – any JGF member who’s not a member of any golf club can get a handicap through JGF
  • training – JGF facilitates training at different facilities and golf clubs across the country
  • empowering trainers – JGF trains junior golf teachers training the trainer program to ensure there are enough trainers for members
  • competitions – JGF organizes and manages several competitions through out the country for both handicapped and non-handicapped juniors across the country

In addition, JGF lobbies for and selects juniors to represent the country in several international golf competitions each year.
